As stated on the Gramps website, “Gramps is a free software project and community that strives to produce a genealogy program that is both intuitive for hobbyists and feature-complete for professional genealogists. It is a community project, created, developed and governed by genealogists.”

As such, sincere thanks and appreciation is extended to the community of developers and individuals that created and help continue to develop this platform, as well as the people met through forums, emails, discussions, reddit, etc. who have made this project possible. Organizing the vast amounts of information and sources that have arisen in the course of this project has been challenging, and gramps has been integral in meeting that challenge.

Further, the fact that the platform is both open source and free has been a huge asset as genealogy has the potential to be a surprisingly expensive avocation (travel, software, preservation materials, etc.).

If you are interested in starting a genealogy project please consider using the gramps platform. Additionally, if you would like a copy of this database (TM Miller Family Database) and are a current member of the extended family, please inquire.

Gramps and the Gramps project did not endorse this project or website, and this project and website does not and is not intended to reflect their view or speak for the community as a whole.
